산성 고자당 액상배지를 사용한 미취학아동의 우식활성검사 성적과 우식경험유치면지수의 상관성

Abstract
결론
이리시 소재 1개 유치원의 3세에서 6세까지의 유치열기 아동 138명을 대상으로 구강내의
우식유발세균으로 지목되는 S. mutans와 Lactobacillus의 동시배양을 목적으로 개발한 산성
고자당액상배지에 피검자의 치태를 배양하여 우식활성도를 측정하고 이를 우식경험유치면지
수의 검사를 통한 우식경험도와의 상관성을 분석한 바 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다.
1. 산성고자당액상배지를 사용한 우식활성검사성적과 우식경험도간에 순상관관계가 존재하
였고 6세 연령군에서 72시간 후의 pH 하강속도가 가장 높은 상관성을 나타내었다.
2. 우식활성 검사성적과 우식경험도간에는 48시간 배양 후부터 높은 유의성을 나타내었으므
로 48시간 배양 후부터 피검자의 우식활성도를 평가할 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.
3. 배지내의 산생성속도를 지수화 한 pH 하강속도를 측정한 결과 높은 상관성이 있는 것으
로 나타난바 pH 하강속도의 측정이 우식활성도의 판정에 유익할 것으로 사료된다.
4. 우식활성검사성적과 우식경험도간에 성별차이는 없었으며 잇솔질횟수에 따른 영향도 없
었으나 연령증가에 따라 우식유치면지수와 우식경험유치면 지수가 증가하였다.
5. 우식발현이 높은 5, 6세 연령군에서 우식활성검사성적과 우식경험도간의 상관성이 가장
높았으므로 앞으로의 우식활성검사에 대한 횡단면연구에 있어 유치열기를 연구대상으로 할
경우 5, 6세가 적합할 것으로 사료된다.
6. 전체적으로 보아, 산성고자당액상배지를 사용하여 우식활성검사를 시행한 결과 검사성적
과 우식경험도간에 높은 상관성을 보였으므로 우식활성검사법으로 임상적 실용성이 클 것으로 사료된다.

The purpose of this study was to develop a practical caries activity test to be used for
selecting the children of high caries activity. For simultaneous culture of Streptococcus
mutans and Lactobacillus, new culture medium was prepared. 30% sucrose liquid
medium was made and lactic acid was added to lower the pH of the medium to 5.4. 138
preschool children were examined for dmfs index. The plaque sample was obtained from
buccal surfaces of upper posterior teeth. through the 96hours of incubation period, acid
production of both Streptococcus mutans and Lactobacillus was evaluated by the color
change of liquid medium every 24hour, and pH-decline velocity was measured after
72hours and 96hours. dmfs index was correlated significantly with the acid production
score and the velocity of pH decline. Acidic high sucrose liquid medium ana be used as
culture medium for cariogenic bacteria.
