Abstract

À̹ø ¿¬±¸¿¡¼­´Â õ¿¬ÃßÃâ¹°ÀÎ ¥â-gluconsan calciumÀ̱¸°­¾Ï ¼¼Æ÷ÀÇ Áõ½Ä°ú »ç¸ê¿¡ ¹ÌÄ¡´Â ¿µÇâÀ» Æò°¡ÇÏ°íÀÚ ÇÏ¿´À¸¸ç, ´ÙÀ½°ú °°Àº °á·ÐÀ» ¾ò¾ú´Ù. ¥â-gluconsan calcium 0.5 mg/ml 󸮱º¿¡¼­ ¼¼Æ÷¼öÀÇ °¨¼Ò¿Í ÇüÅ º¯È­°¡ °üÂûµÇ¾úÀ¸¸ç, 0.75, 1 mg/ml¿¡¼­´Â °ÅÀǸðµç ¼¼Æ÷°¡ »ç¸êÇÏ¿´´Ù. ¥â-gluconsan calciumÀ» ³óµµº°·Îó¸®ÇÑ °á°ú, YD-10B ¼¼Æ÷¼ö°¡ ³óµµ ÀÇÁ¸ÀûÀ¸·Î °¨¼ÒÇÏ¿´À¸¸ç(p£¼0.05), MTT ºÐ¼® °á°ú, ¥â-gluconsan calcium ó¸®ÇÑ ±ºÀº ¾Æ¹«°Íµµ ó¸®ÇÏÁö ¾ÊÀº ±º¿¡ ºñÇØ ¸ðµÎ ¼¼Æ÷ È°¼ºÀÌ ÀúÇϵǾú´Ù(p£¼0.05). ÀÌ»óÀÇ °á°úµéÀ» Á¾ÇÕÇØ º¸¾ÒÀ»¶§, polycan°ú calcium gluconate º¹ÇÕÁ¦ÀÎ ¥â-gluconsan calciumÀº ±¸°­¾Ï ¼¼Æ÷ÀÇ ¼ºÀå ¾ïÁ¦¿¡ È¿°ú°¡ ÀÖ´Â °ÍÀ¸·Î»ý°¢µÈ´Ù.

In recent years, there has been a global trend toward the importance of natural extracts for the prevention and treatment of human diseases. ¥â-glucan is known to have anti-inflammatory activity, anti-cancer, and improvement of immune system. Polycan is purified ¥â-glucan from Aureobasidum pullulans SM-2001. The anti-cancer effects of ¥â-gluconsan calcium, polycan and calcium gluconate complex, were evaluated in human oral cancer YD-10B cells. YD-10B cells were cultured in the presence of 0, 0.5, 0.75, 1 mg/ml ¥â-gluconsan calcium for 48 hours. MTT assay, cell counting, and observation of cell morphology were conducted. The number of cells decreased and cell morphology changed in the 0.5 mg/ml of ¥â-gluconsan calcium. Almost all cells were dead in the 0.75 and 1 mg/ml. MTT assay showed a dose-dependent reduction in cell proliferation (p£¼0.05). These results indicate that ¥â-gluconsan calcium exhibiting anti-cancer effects in YD-10B cells through changes in cell morphology and cell death.
