Abstract

Jaw fracture is a facial trauma commonly caused by various causes such as traffic accidents, trauma, and sports. In general, when jaw fracture is observed, treatment is performed through surgical treatment or non-surgical reduction after an appropriate diagnosis at an early stage. Postoperative complications include facial deformity, trismus, chewing, and malocclusion. In this paper, we report two cases of surgical treatment of malocclusion after inappropriate jaw fracture treatment and review the related contents.
